Born 31 May 1894 St Kilda Victoria. Son of Abraham MENDELSOHN & Rachel née ISAACS. Military Cross: 'During operations in the vicinity of Monntbrehain, on 5th October 1918, soon after the attack had been launched, he pushed his aid post forward under heavy shell fire, and established it at a most advanced position.
