Brother of PTE Eric Blaubaum KIA and LT Otto Blaubaum. Born 27/6/1891 St Kilda. Dr Ivan Blaubaum, well-known diabetic specialist, died yesterday at his home in Myoora Road, Toorak, after a short illness. Dr Blaubaum served as LTCOL with the 39th Battalion in the First World War. He was a prominent member of the Naval and Military Club and a member of the Caulfield branch of the Returned Soldiers' League. Before going to England to study diabetics, Dr Blaubaum practised in Armadale for 20 years. He returned about 10 years ago, and moved to Collins Street, where he remained until about three weeks before his death. He is survived by a widow and one son, Dr Peter Blaubaum.
