Born 28/4/1905 England. Husband of Elizabeth Bessie Solonsch, of Adelaide, South Australia married 16/2/1937 in Jewish synagogue. Son of Mr & Mrs Solomon SOLONSCH. "He escaped on March 10, 1942. After taking an active part in the Dutch underground movement he was re-arrested in November, 1942, and condemned to death by the Japanese after trial by court-martial in April, 1943. Solonsch had a good command of foreign languages and spoke German and Malayan fluently."
